NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS PROMOTION. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

THE FOLLOWING GAME IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE 50 UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (“D.C.”) ONLY (VOID IN NEW JERSEY AND VIRGINIA) AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO APPLICABLE UNITED STATES LAWS. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU ARE NOT A LEGAL RESIDENT OF AND LOCATED IN ONE OF THE 50 UNITED STATES OR D.C. (EXCLUDING NJ & VA) AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

1) HOW TO PLAY THE GAME: The Game begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on 9/25/06 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on 12/31/06 or after 40,000 Game plays, whichever occurs first (“Promotion Period”). To play the Game, visit the website at www.gasgaugetrivia.com and register by completing the form with your first & last name, email address, address (no P.O. Boxes), birth date and phone number. You will then be asked to answer five trivia questions related to Amoco fuels at BP. After each question is answered (regardless of correct or not), a portion of the Gas Gauge graphic will begin to light up. Once all questions are answered, a message will appear indicating whether a prize has been won or not. If you receive a message that states “Instant Winner” and a prize description, you are the winner of that prize, subject to compliance with these official rules and verification. All non-winning messages will read “Sorry, NOT a Winner.” Limit one Game play per person. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner, the winning Game play will be deemed made by the person listed in the registration information. Automated Game plays or Game plays through third-party website or software are prohibited and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the Game in any way.

2) ELIGIBILITY: The BP Gas Gauge Trivia Game (the “Game”) is offered only in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, excluding New Jersey and Virginia (“United States”), and is open only to legal residents of the United States (excluding NJ & VA residents) who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of BP Products North America Inc. (“Sponsor”), its’ affiliate companies, their respective agents, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies and related companies, any other entity connected with the design or administration of this program, and members of the immediate family (defined for these purposes as a biological or stepparent, grandparent, child, sibling or spouse) of any of the foregoing regardless of where they live, and households members of any of the above, whether related or not, are NOT eligible to participate. Void in New Jersey, Virginia and where prohibited.

3) PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”)/ODDS: The following prizes will be available to be awarded during the entire Promotion Period: Grand Prize: One (1) $2,500 BP Gift Card Odds: 1:40,000. First Prize: Five (5) Prizes consisting of an MP3 Player, an FM Transmitter and a $100 music download gift card card. ARV: $500.00 each. Odds: 1:800. Second Prize: Five hundred (500) Prizes consisting of a $10 BP gift card. ARV: $10 each. Odds 1:80. Third Prize: Five thousand (5,000) Prizes consisting of a music download. ARV: $.99 each. Odds 1:8. Odds are based on a maximum of 40,000 game plays. Total odds of winning any prize: 1:7. Total ARV of all available prizes for the entire Game is: $14,950.00. BP Gift Card Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions stated thereon. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. No more than the number of prizes advertised herein will be awarded.

4) PRIZE RESTRICTIONS/CONDITIONS AND OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Sponsor will attempt to contact potential Grand and First Prize winners by overnight mail within 21 days of prize notification, and potential Grand and First prize winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Release of Liability/Publicity (except where prohibited) within 7 days of first attempted delivery of same. Noncompliance within the 7-day time period or return of any prize notification or prize as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Second and Third Prizes will be shipped within 4-6 weeks of winner notification.

All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes and all other costs incurred in claiming, registering, or using any prizes, or expenses on receipt and use of prizes are the responsibility solely of the winners unless otherwise provided in these Official Rules.

Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all media worldwide, without limitation or further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Each winner, by acceptance of a prize, represents that he or she has complied with all rules of this Game and agrees to release Sponsor, Wunderman, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors and employees of each, media partners and advertising, promotion and other coordinating agencies involved in this promotion, (“Promotional Parties”), from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the use, acceptance, possession or awarding of any prize or participation in the Game or in any prize-related activities. All submissions become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. No prize substitution or cash redemption except as provided herein. All prizes will be awarded provided they are properly claimed, but in no event will Sponsor award more prizes than are provided for in these Official Rules. Prizes are non-transferable. If, for any reason, there are more prize claims at any prize level than the number of prizes stated herein, a random drawing from among all eligible prize claimants shall be conducted to award the prizes at the particular prize level. By playing the Game, each entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final in all matters relating to this Game.

5) LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Promotional Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, Web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to play the Game, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in the Game or downloading any Game materials. The Promotional Parties do not assume any responsibility for any disruption in the Game caused by schedule changes, labor strikes, or any other act, circumstance or other unforeseen event outside of the control of the Promotional Parties. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected mail, lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone, or computer hardware or software or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including, without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information online. Game material/data that has been tampered with or altered is void. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. If the Game is terminated in whole or in part, before the designated end date, Sponsor will select winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect registration information received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination and will post notification of the cancellation at www.gasgaugetrivia.com. Sponsor's liability for inaccurate or false prize winner notification messages resulting from fraud, error, or any other cause, is limited to one additional Game play, while supplies last. In no event will Sponsor and/or Promotion Parties be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with access to and/or use of the web site or the downloading from and/or printing of material downloaded from said site. Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations or the exclusions of liability for incidental or consequential damages; therefore, some of the aforementioned limitations or exclusions may not apply depending on your place of residence.

6) WINNERS LIST: For the name of the Grand and First prize winners, send a self-addressed stamped, #10 envelope to: BP Gas Gauge Trivia Winners List Request, P.O. Box 324, Lombard, IL 60148-0324. Winners Lists will be sent when the Game is over and all claimed prizes are awarded. Requests for Winner Lists must be received by 1/31/06.
